Overflow Without Over Giving
Transmissions for the Soul
Transmission 3
True service pours from fullness, not depletion.
Dear One, with the Open Heart,
Your generosity is sacred.
Your desire to offer is holy.
But offering is not meant to empty you.
It is meant to overflow from you.
There is a difference between giving and over giving.
True giving arises from abundance—
from the wellspring within that has been tended and honoured.
Over giving arises from a wound—
a fear of not being enough,
a belief that love must be earned through depletion.
You are not more worthy when you are exhausted.
You are not more loving when you have abandoned yourself.
The most potent offerings come from the soul that knows its own sense of enough, its own worth,
its own sacred limits.
You are not here to bleed yourself dry in the name of service.
You are here to bless from the overflow of your being.
Tend to your well.
Guard your light.
Fill yourself first.
And let what pours forth
be born from joy,
not obligation.
Feel This Truth in Your Body
– Your well-being is not separate from your offering.
– Depletion distorts generosity; fullness sanctifies it.
– Saying no when needed protects the purity of your yes.
– The most lasting service comes from a nourished soul.
Practices for Offering from Overflow
1. The Overflow Check-In
Before giving your time, energy, or presence, ask:
“Am I offering from fullness or from fear?”
Let your answer guide your next step.
2. The Self-Tending Ritual
Each week, choose one act that nourishes you deeply.
Name it sacred.
Treat it as essential preparation for your service in the world.
3. The Sacred No Practice
When you feel the inner yes waver, practice saying no—not as rejection, but as devotion to your own well-being.
Affirm:
“My boundaries bless my offering.”
Reflect with Compassion
– Where am I giving beyond my authentic capacity?
– What beliefs tell me I must deplete myself to be worthy?
– How does my service feel when it flows from fullness versus when it flows from fear?
– What would it mean to honour my overflow as sacred?
A Blessing for the Overflowing Soul
May you give only what overflows.
May you tend to your well with tenderness and joy.
May your generosity be a celebration, not a sacrifice.
May your service be the fruit of your own deep nourishment.
And may you remember:
you are never required to abandon yourself
in order to bless the world.
